Event Hosts
Within our entertainment family, we have some excellent and experience Live Hosts, among them the dynamic duo of Emily Thompson and Kadeem, currently the in-game Hosts form the Brampton Honey Badgers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). Their outstanding work has taking both to host several other international basketball events such as FIBA America Olympic and World Cup Qualification Games, and Global Jam Basketball Festival.
Emily Thompson is a current TV Production Assistant with ET Canada, who has produced many stories that have hit over a million views on Youtube. She started her career as dancer and host for the Canadian Football League (CFL) and in 2020 joined the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) as host of the expansion Hamilton Honey Badgers, and since then she has brought her work ethic, energy and charisma to several community and sporting events.
Kadeem a.k.a. Deemz is a business entrepreneur that owns an international clothing brand of urban wear called Foreign Waves International, with a tremendous passion for the sport of Basketball he started his Emcee career in 2015 at the Pan-Am Games in Toronto, as one of the hosts for the basketball competition. Since then, he has been the live host for multiple community and corporate events for such organization like Google and Nike.
Julio “Boogie Down” Santiago is a legendary Street Dancer and MC born and raised in the Bronx NY, he has been performing and entertaining crowds for decades. His unique style and charisma landed him roles in film, music videos, and stage productions. In 2008 he was casted as one of the original members of The Michael Jackson Immortal World Tour by Cirque du Soleil.
After Cirque du Soleil, Julio took his famous dance crew “The USA Break
Dancers” on tour the globe to some of the top street festivals in Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Ireland, Canada, and United States. In 2010 he was awarded The AIB Street Performance World Championships held in Dublin Ireland, and the recent recipient of the Twitter award for best act, summer of 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Event DJ
Ms. Ashley Cavasino a.k.a. DJ Desire has been DJ’ing since the age of sixteen, focusing on private and corporate parties. Then she began DJ’ing her first of countless weddings at only seventeen while also working her mixes into the nightclub scene a year later. By her 22nd birthday she took her MC skills to a new level by DJ’ing and working as an entertainment host on board two cruise ships with Carnival Cruise Lines DJ’ing in the Bahamas & Caribbean. She returned home a year later getting the corporate attention of the Walt Disney Company becoming a resident DJ for Disney’s movie release parties where she has DJ’d for the stars of Disney films such as Captain America: Winter Solder, Need for Speed, McFarland, The Finest Hour, and The Jungle Book to name a few. She has also DJ’d within the professional sports realm, landing a residency DJ’ing massive tailgate parties for the LA Rams mega fan group, World Tour Rams during the 2017 and 2018 NFL season. She later performed for the US Women’s Soccer team at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville for the She Believes Cup the following year.
